RESULTS - 30th March 2016 - CW

Thanks for taking part in the second last CW contest of the 2015/16 series. Band conditions seemed less noisy than during some previous contests, but there was less DX worked this time. Going above about 3532kHz was very difficult with the big pile-ups on either the FT4JA or VK0EK DXpeditions. There was a slight error in the updated N1MM+ .udc file (tnx Peter M0RYB for spotting this) which was only fixed about 30 mins before the contest was due to start, so sorry if you could not use the new version this time. Congratulations to Allan SM5CSS on winning Overall and Low Power, to Chris GM3WOJ on winning the High Power section and to Jano OM3WZ on winning the QRP section. Support for these contests from our European friends is increasing - we will list the European entries separately in the 2016/17 series (starting in September 2016) and award a special certificate for the leading Eu station at the end of that series - thanks for your support Eu ops ! The next contest is on 6th March 2016 on SSB. 73 Chris GM3WOJ and Paul EI5DI - Adjudicators
