Thank you for taking part in this CW contest. Conditions were good for most people, and noise levels seemed lower than normal. Congratulations to Ted SN1T for leading the table with a clean log, followed closely by S57KM and LY7T. The leading UK/EI station is Tim M4T in 10th spot, and the leading QRP station is Mike G3P with 240pts. A few words about the Bonus stations EI5G and Gx5GEI ... QSOs with them are worth 15 pts, and working them both can really help your score and your position in the table. We do understand that stations in Central EU may find it difficult to work them, but in this contest, four of the top six EU stations worked both Bonus stations. So no excuse for all the G's and EI's not to work them both and get a better score ! In the League table, Sandi S57KM is at the top (if you do not touch the filters). But look ... switch to SSB and GM4JYB, SM5CSS and M5G are in a tight race. And switch to QRP-All Mode ... G4ZFE has a good lead. The band seemed noisy even after I noticed the attenuator was off, but nice signals too with a little QSB on some. Not normally in on a Wednesday night so forgot this was on, so after I finished the CWT contest I switched off the amp and did something else. The it twigged that I'd seen some unusual calls appear in the bandmap at the end of the CWT event and realised what was happening! Started calling with 25W while waiting for the PA to warm up!
