RESULTS - 5th April 2017 - SSB

Thanks for taking part in the last SSB contest of the 2016/17 series. Here near Inverness the skip was quite long, but I could still work quite a number of UK and EI stations (I had to QRT early cos of a bad cold making me feel weak)   I found the band quite crowded between 3700 and 3775 so we will look again at extending the frequencies available for the 2017/18 series. Good to work a number of new stations this evening - the UKEICC team hope you enjoyed your first UKEICC 80m contest. Update 6th April - our software expert has identified and fixed the unusual problem which caused some genuine QSOs with EI7CD to be flagged as dupe QSOs with EI7CC. The scores below will remain Provisional until next Monday, but the order of the leading stations won't change. Next week we will rescore the contest and send you a corrected UBN file. Update 11th April - scores now finalised - sorry for the delay!  Congratulations to Allan GM4Z (GM4ZUK) on winning Overall and the High Power Unconnected section, with Uwe DL8UD in second place. Also to Steve GW9J (GW0GEI) on winning the High Power Connected section, Allan SM5CSS the Low Power Unconnected section and Steve M9A (G3ZVW) on winning the QRP section. Corrected UBN files have been sent to all entrants - please ignore the Subject line of these e-mails. Hope to work you in the exciting UKEICC DX CW contest 22/23rd April ! Next 80m contest :   26th April 2017 - CW (last in the 2016/17 series)             73  Chris GM3WOJ, Paul EI5DI - Adjudicators
