80m CW Contest - 30th November 2022

Thanks for taking part in the final 80m CW contest of 2022. Conditions were long skip and here in North Wales quite noisy and disturbed. Lots of extremely weak and watery UK/EI signals and some awkward echoing that made for extra care copying; a significant number of 'impossible locators' were noted in the logs! There were 9 instances of >4000Km contacts logged with K1GQ and VE9OA. Overall winner is 9A1AA (Low Power) with I2IFT leading High Power entrant. G3P headed the QRP section. EI5KF was the leading UK/EI entrant. EA7/G4BJM was the leader in the Unassisted category. We take a break from contesting in December, and then continue the 2022-2023 season of 80m contests on 4th January 2023. Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year from the UKEICC team!
