80m CW Contest - 27th January 2021

The final results below. Congratulations to overall winner Nikolay RM4F, who was followed by Clive GM3X and Chris GM2V. The section winners for unconnected stations were Chris GM2V, Allan SM5CSS, and Sergei YL3FW in the high, low and QRP sections. The section winners for connected stations were Nikolay RM4F, Nigel OE5TXF, and Richard G4ZFE in the high, low and QRP sections. We received 142 valid logs. A new record. Thanks to everyone who took part. Conditions on 80m were fair, with many long-distance QSOs but some QSB. The longest QSO was EI5KF / RM4F - 3513 km. We hope you worked our newly-issued UKEICC EI Club Callsign EI5G (operated by Paul EI5DI). We are proud to be issued with this respected historical callsign - more details of the background to EI5G will be posted here on this website in due course. Thanks to everyone for taking part. Our next contest is the SSB contest on Wednesday 3rd February. The next CW contest is on Wednesday 24th February. I hope that you can join us. 73 The UKEICC adjudication team.
