80m SSB Contest - 3rd April 2024

This was the final SSB contest of the 2023/24 80m contest series. Activity overall was lower than usual, but good to see 12 entrants from EI. The final results are shown below. The winner was Per SE2P, ahead of Sandi S57KM (2nd and leading low power station) and Nico DK5DQ. Brian GM4JYB was top UK station and 4th overall. Mark EI6JK was the top EI station and 5th overall. The leading QRP station was John G3XYF. The 'DDX Dream team' (Tim EI2KA, Tom G4BYE, Sandi S57KM and Allan SM5CSS) are doing well in the 'Teams of 4' competition (click on the pull-down menu). Now is a good time to plan a team entry for the 2024/25 season which starts in September. Thanks to Paul G4PVM for activating the G5GEI Bonus station, and to Mick EI6IKB for activating the EI5G Bonus station. The final 80m contest in the 2023-24 series is the CW contest on Wednesday 24th April 2024, at 2000z. We hope that you will join us for the UKEI DX CW contest which will be on 27/28 April 2024. 73 from the Adjudicators - Paul G4PVM and Tim G4FJK.
