Results - 6th February 2019 - SSB

Thanks for entering the second UKEICC 80m SSB contest of 2019. Once again, the UKEICC team appreciates your support for these events under the difficult conditions which often prevail on 80m at this time of year. As your scheduled Adjudicator (Chris GM3WOJ/GM2V) has done better than he expected, Chris has asked me to take over as Adjudicator for this event to ensure fairness. The next contest in this series is the 80m CW contest on Wednesday 27th February 2019. Note - we have not been able to send out the "Results.txt" file with your UBN file, so please see the Results tables below. The URL below links to a website run by Jim G3YLA, an excellent resource for estimating possible 80m conditions for evening contests : http://www.propquest.co.uk/graphs.php (Click on 'foF2' at the top, then select 'Today' on the left, then hover your mouse over the time of day on the x-axis.) 73 Tim G4FJK (Your adjudicator for the evening)

UKEICC 80m using 4 character QRA exchange 06/02/2019 Soapbox Comments Random Long-Wire Inverted 'L' Hard work at times. Thanks for all the persistence and all the QSO. -- 2E0WHQ Thanks for contacts and the contest at poor Conditions ;-) -- DG9BEO So much for the Year of the Pig--took me 9 mins to make my first contact and conditions were very difficult thereafter. Still another fun contest. Thanks UKEICC and Ei5DI for SD. -- EI2KA No short skip for the first 40 minutes thankfully a big improvement in the last 20 minutes. -- EI7GY Tough going, conditions reasonable but not too many on, didn't work a single EI or MI... -- EI8KF First entry. Great fun! -- EI8KN Nice activity this evening, thank for all QSO 73's Didier -- F1FPL Noisey as usual S9. But the Holland stations came through it. -- G0ATR HEARD VERY LITTLE INTER G THANKS TO SD LOG -- G0OFD First time in this contest -- G1EIX Only mnanaged 10 minutes so more of a checklog I guess. Conditions for inter-G not good -- G3TDH Poor conditions ... -- G4BEE Poor Condx Used SD V21.01 -- G4BYE Another frustrating evening. Very few G or EI stations EU came in at the end. I used SD as usual which does make logging easy. -- G4DDX Awful conditions this evening here. High noise level for the first 30 minutes, so my apologies to those that called me but I could not hear. -- G4FJK Not quite as bad conditions as Monday night! -- G4NBS Just 15 mins or so operating at the end of the event! -- G4PIQ Poor conditions again but better than Monday's 80m CC. Worked mostly to the south, hardly anything heard to the north. -- G4ZVB great easy to use -- G5UM better conditions than last few night tnx for the qsos -- G6UBM Pretty poor condx but enjoyable anyway! -- G7T Much better conditions than on Monday evening! Testing new RX antenna which worked well. Thanks for the QSOs - 73 -- GM2V equipment problems followed by s9 noise -- GM3A dismal until 20:30 then very slowly improved as the skip gradually shortend ,still crap score! -- GM4M Very long skip this evening. -- GW4W it's strange to operate in ssb, I'm not used to it. Thanks to those who heard me -- IN3FHE Conditions continue to be very bad! -- M0DCG Struggled with rain in the radio, had to stop early. -- M1CJE Short range MUF too low ? Good strong PA/F/GM but limited in between. All SnP. Always fun to take part and work some friends -- M1DDD Deliberate anti-contest QRM tonight - worst for a long time ... Data on top, Random CW, Tuning signals, and then someone asked "what contest is it" and after telling him the response was "go to hell". Courtesy on the bands is getting out of hand. I just carried on making contacts - the best way to deal with it. Conditions were noisy and difficult esp Inter-G. -- M4J Conditions poor for inter UK. Only really hearing UK stations at the far south. Good activity from non UK stations keeps this contest of interest. -- MM2N Always nice to participate in this 1 hour contest. A small exercise for the PACC contest this weekend. Hope to hear some of you on 80m saturday evening to return the favour ;-). 73, Bas -- PE4BAS WORST CONDS IN MY LIFE. HEARD ONLY ONE STATION LY9A.TO AVOID TO CRAZY I LOG IN ONLY ONE QSO, QUIT ONE QSO !!! BAD BAD BAD -- SE5L Bad conditions this evening! 73 de Allan -- SM5CSS Vy Local QRN -- SM6IQD
