We were pleased to receive 538 valid entries - considerably down from the large number of entries in 2021, because of lockdown in 2021, etc. Propagation conditions were disappointing overall. See further comments in the Adjudicator Feedback section below. Congratulations to all section winners - Chris GM2V (GM3WOJ) on winning overall and the High Power Unassisted section. His final score was only 0.9% ahead of second-placed overall John MM9I (GM0OPS) who wins the High Power Assisted section. Paul G4PVM wins the Low Power Assisted section. ThreeAs Contest Group members Tim M4T (M0BEW) and Andy G4PIQ had a close competition in the High Power Assisted 12-hour section, with Tim winning. Arvis YL7X was the leading non-UK/EI entrant, with Laszlo HG5D close behind. Gordon MM2N (MM0GPZ) was the winner of the 12-hour LP Unassisted section and John G4DRS was the winner of the 24-hour LP Unassisted section. Bob K3UL was the highest placed DX entrant. Lots of weak watery G's on HF added to the challenge but conditions on 15m picked up towards the end which added a bit more fun. No ZLs in the log which seems a bit odd, despite plenty of RBN spots from that area. -- G4IRN I only had some time available on Saturday unfortunately -- G4OZG Wires only entry. Hadn't intended to do this, but managed to squeeze 12 hours in and it was fun. Almost, but not quite eligible for the single element antenna category. Spent first part of contest operating SO1.5R sharing a single fan dipole on both radios (so no Rx while transmitting), but got frustrated so went full SO2R with a whole 2 separate dipoles! 80 and 40 dipoles only are a poor compromise on 20 & 10 especially. First use of on-line scoreboard which was fun - though would be good to see more there. Wasn't sure when to take last break - but first radio failure in about 20 years happened which forced me to stop and changeout. 2 x K3 + PAs 80m Dipole @ 20m + 40m Dipole @ 14m -- G4PIQ Just a small log due to family committments. Poor HF conditions above 14Mhz. Plenty of EU activity made for very quick qso's. Good fun. -- G6M 80m 200w>>dipole@18m 10m 400w>>6ele@20m. Feedback from the Adjudicators

We were pleased to receive 538 valid entries. This is well down on last year's entries for the same event, for a number of reasons.
Several stations failed to submit their logfiles within the required 24-hour log submission period. This is despite it being clearly stated on the website and on the Rules pages. We are disappointed that we cannot accept these late logs.
We received a number of logfiles that we could not process - the main issues being missing serial numbers, missing UK/EI district codes, etc. We strongly recommend the use of one of the more common contest logging software packages e.g. N1MM+, DXlog, which allow correct logging in these UK/EI DX Contests.
The effect of the overnight (in UK/EI) bonus points showed up clearly with the two leading stations - John MM9I making 27 QSOs worth 16 points each and a lot of 8 point QSOs while Chris GM2V was sleeping. John would have the winning score if he had made just 3 more of these 16 point QSOs!
