Thanks for entering the second SSB event of the 2018/19 series of UKEICC 80m contests. DX seemed quite sparse and no QSOs longer than 2500 km were made. Congratulations to Allan GM4Z for winning the High Power section and to DL8UD for heading the large Low Power section. G3KAF produced an impressive showing to lead a trio of QRP entrants. Good sign and nice Contest as well tnx for Paul SD use almost -- DL8UD Started briskly but QSO's started to dry up after about 20 minutes in. Didn't work too many EU stations this time... -- EI8KF TNX & 73! -- EW1FM Good conditions Scotland always strong signals. Good to make contact with Holland. -- G0ATR Fab fun by all 5 Stations active for Leicester Radio Society -- G2AA Really enjoy these contests. -- G3KNU Less activity than usual -- G4AFJ Used SD V20.03a Seemed to be fewer stations on -- G4BYE There did not seem so may people on this evening Lots of local qrm but an enjoyable contest. used SD as usual. -- G4DDX Suffered a period of DQRM. they went away eventually. Happened on the last CW test as well. -- G4EBK good contest for me tnx all for qso's -- G6UBM Quite fun. Band conditions quite good? Actually managed to hold a frequency for a while in 2 different parts of the band! A first I think? Normally almost all S&P. -- G8FMC How silly I was, I started on the wrong lower segment, still worked four contacts before a kind station alerted me to the problem, thank you, I then enkoyed immensely the rest of the time :) -- GI0AZB First outing with new 7610. Tough going -- GM3A Not much DX this evening. Tnx for the QSOs - 73 -- GM3WOJ Just for a change no qrp but low power. Some qsb wiped out a few stations for me with my half sized inv v -- GM4M Many stations from UK no copy LP signal :) Must be 200W or more. In my side only 80W. -- LY4ZZ Conditions good at first deteriorating towards the end -- M0DCG tuning/data jammer from 30 mins in. radio lock up 2.5 minutes in ... back up 3.5 mins later. -- M4J Poor condx tonight very little EU stations heard -- MM1E I came home from CA USA yesterday so I was tired but I hope I did not make many mistakes! 73 de Allan -- SM5CSS
