80m SSB Contest - 6 April 2022
Thank you for taking part in the last of our 80m SSB contests of this season. Conditions were quite good across these islands and into mainland Europe. It was encouraging to hear so many EI stations taking part. Congratulations to Fons DL3RAR with his winning score while only running 100w. Chris GM2V had the highest QRO score, and a special mention to Gerwyn MW7FON, a Foundation licensee, for his leading QRP score. Thanks go to our Bonus Station operators - David G3PLE operating G5GEI - Declan EI9FVB operating EI5G. Don't Forget - the UK/EI DX CW Contest takes place on 30th April / 1st May 2022. 73 The Adjudicator Team GM3WOJ, EI5DI, GW0ETF, G4PVM and G4FJK

SSB is much more difficult than CW. -- DM6EE Conditions seemed to vary greatly tonight--some signals very strong and some surprisingly weak. Delighted to work two of my team members G4BYE and after a long wait, S57KM. Also two Bonus stations--happy times tonight. It seemed fewer stations than usual but many EIs. SD logger great as usual--thanks EI5DI. -- EI2KA excellent contest -- EI3ER Great contest -- EI5G Conditions not great into europe tonight Plenty of EI/G Good Fun as always SD worked mighty well -- EI5KG Very enjoyable, look forward to the next one -- EI6IKB One of the most enjoyable: conditions were great from Co Wicklow tonight.
