80m SSB Contest - 1st November 2023

Thanks for taking part in the contest. Conditions in IO73 were quite noisy and short skip with a good turn out from EI/GI Final results are listed below. GM4JYB is overall winner in the Low Power category, with EI8CE the leading High Power entrant. M7WLT is leading scorer of 4 in the QRP section. Thanks to Marty EI2IAB for operating the EI5G bonus station. I operated GW5GEI and between us I think we made a decent effort at making the 15 point bonus QSOs available. 73, GW0ETF - Adjudicator

Thanks to all for the contacts, 73, Gary -- 2E0IGD SD K3 -- EI5DI hope I mananged to get out well and get you all a bonus sd logger thank you -- EI5G FT101 & keleman trapped Dipole -- EI6IKB Activity levels down but condx good Used SD as usual -- EI8CE Here comes the storm, batten down the hatches..! -- F4VWD Slow going some good contacts into Scandinavia. -- G3R A very high QRN noise level this evening. -- G3ZBU Really poor condx -- G4BYE from a very very wet Lincolnshire. Now to get the mast down Quick before Ciaran gets going -- G4DSP Really enjoyed the band tonight -- GI0AZB Only got on for 25 minutes. Band in great shape and lovely signals from all stations -- GI4SJQ Skip seemed short tonight. Only a couple outside UK/EI hear, neither worked, and only one JO square worked. Didn't help that I started with almost nil output power, although first two contacts still heard me !! -- GM2S Lots of Irish stations tonight. Very good. Thanks all. -- GM4JYB Band pretty noisy tonight. Glad to be back in the contest. -- GM4VYQ Best QRB is 1276km for EI9KI at IO53HA -- LB2WD Thanks for all the contacts. -- M1CJE Good session absent of QSB issues some QRN in the last minutes.
